1975 BMW R90S
Well Maintained with Extensive Receipts and Records, Super Clean, Complete Factory Tool Roll and Original Manual, Southern Bike, Matching Numbers
This Silver Smoke 1975 BMW R90S is a very clean example of BMW's AMA-winning superbike. It runs and rides beautifully. It is a pleasure to use and own, a finely crafted piece of equipment. The bike has been well maintained throughout its life, upgraded where needed, and ridden. It was upgraded to a dyna electronic ignition and comes complete with a nice stack of service records. Every part that came with the bike when new is still there, including tool tray, owners manual, and complete factory tool roll. We recently purchased it from a meticulous collector who only owned super clean bikes, mostly BMWs. It has a nice set of Metzeler tires on it with low miles on them. The previous owner bought it in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where it lived 99% of its life, and he took two weeks out of his schedule to ride it home to Pennsylvania. The bike performed flawlessly on the trip. A set of napoleon style mirrors come with the bike.
The Delortos are dialed in and the bike will run with much newer machines on the motorways and in the curves. It is very clean over all with brilliant chrome and no rust. All the aluminum clean and shiny. The new paintwork is in beautiful condition and was professionally done. It has one dime sized bubble on the right side of the tank and a few small nicks where the seat meets the tank. Gauges are crisp and working and everything else electrical is also working. The windshield is perfect and the dash and fairing are in great condition, but the dash does have one small crack on the left hand side. Front rotors are excellent. This is a great original bike with a clear title and matching numbers, a genuine R90S which can be verified.
The bike has also had the following maintenance performed:
