1971 Honda CB750

Unique Cafe Build with Many Performance Upgrades

This bike started off as a stock 71 CB750 K1. The 71s are the most desirable 750 motor, as they have the updated carb linkage but are still the high-horsepower, pre-emissions motor.  The bike was completely disassembled and built from the frame up by a Honda enthusiast.

Here's a shortened list of the work completed:

  • Shortened, braced, and de-tabbed frame
  • Custom Dunstall style tank. This tank is pretty unique, made to hold gas and oil and separated into to reservoirs. The tank shell and oil reservoir are fiberglass, and the gas reservoir is steel under the fiberglass shell.
  • Avon road rider rear and Avon cobra front tire.
  • Cycle X oil screw on oil filter kit
  • Oil cooler
  • Drilled front rotor
  • Clip on bars
  • Shaved top triple tree
  • Custom 4-1 exhaust
  • New chain
  • New EBC clutch
  • New performance clutch springs
  • Dime City rear sets
  • New fork seals and fork gators
  • Stainless steel braided brake line
  • New clutch and throttle cables
  • Carbs cleaned
  • Lynx air filters with new red Uni foam filters
  • Steering Dampener
  • Koni rear shocks
  • Lucas style LED tail / brake light
  • New regulator / rectifier
  • Cycle X power arc coil
  • Dyna S ignition
  • Completely re-wired custom harness.
  • Hella 500 black magic head light
  • Mini speedo with dummy lights
  • Custom speedo bracket

The bike was painted battleship gray and a custom seat from Corinna at Via Meccanica was fitted. If you have been looking for a badass cafe racer that has been thoughtfully and heavily upgraded, this is your bike.
