1971 BMW R75/5

Beautiful Original Paint, Super Clean Bike, Runs and Rides Excellent, New Odyssey Battery

This 1971 R75/5 is a very well preserved original paint bike that runs and rides extremely well. The bike came out of a large collection of bikes and cars that were kept in a collector's pristine warehouse.

The bike has outstanding original paint and pinstriping on its tank and fenders (tested with my paint meter.) 200 miles ago it had an oil change and a valve adjustment, new tires (1000 miles ago) and a new Odyssey battery. This bike has the best preserved pinstripes I've seen on an original paint /5. For an original paint bike, there are remarkably few signs of use.

All electrics function properly and all lights work properly.

It is a great bike to ride, starts immediately, no smoke, sounds great, idles smoothly, shifts perfectly, turns in nicely.

Original tool roll (missing a few tools), tire pump as well. Matching numbers. Bike was bought from Connecticut, which does not issue titles for older vehicles (just like NY and many other states.) So you get the CT registration, bill of sale, and all the proper dealer transfer paperwork from me. Please check with your local DMV about registering older vehicles before bidding.
